This is one of the most beautiful times of year in the UK, yet most of us miss it by staying inside and keeping warm. Today I went for a gorgeous and inspirational walk to Peckham Rye park, although the sky is dark and heavy the grey tone enhances the contrast between the glorious autumnal colours of the trees. Glowing golden hues mix with pillar box reds and crunchy turning greens, as little squirrels forage for nuts and snack on the fungi at the base of tree stumps, a veritable fairytale land.
